Every once in a while as we work hard on bringing you more insight and more insiders info I notice just how big the resources list is. These are vital and often free resources that the new website owner is going to need.

In this article I will be listing websites that have or list quality resources that you may find useful.

Over time it is possible the pages linked to might change or be taken down so all the normal disclaimers apply. That out of the way let us begin.

Free Stock Photo's and Other Images - If you have ever tried to find something graphical to support a presentation or round of a page you may have tried to search for "free clipart" or something similar and found that most of the results are junk.

Bootstrap Design, by Shawn Hessinger has listed not one or two but seven (7) different sites that produce quality free images for professional use. (registration may be required, some conditions apply).

MyBlogLog is a vital part of both your social promotion effort and your statistical tracking if you run a blog or similar site. It has recently been purchased by Yahoo and so can be expected to last for quite some time. Our Reader Community is doing very well there.

The alternative is blogcatalog which is almost as good.

Reseller Program - In my opinion (possibly a biased one) this is a great tool for adding value and income to your site.

Buzz42 - Once you have set up your site you should be looking to set up links to your site from topical pages around the internet. Buzz42 allow readers to submit articles and this is a great opportunity to add a few links in an article that is topically related to your site. Not only will you get a small flow of readers to your site through it but you will also get search engine attention.

Buzz42 also have a MyBlogLog community here which should give you a good overview of topic areas even if it is not very well promoted at the moment.

How to Redirect Specific Blogger Posts - if you are hoping to escape from blogger then Thought Sparks' post on the subject of sending visitors on is going to be an important read.

Andy Beard - Niche Marketing - If you want to dominate your niche then you would do well to subscribe to the feed of Andy Beard who is a rising star of when it comes to this topic. For example this Google Blog Search post is a great primer.

Remove NoFollow - nofollow was a good idea that simply did not work. Now it tends to do more harm than good. This list (also by Andy Beard) is one of the most comprehensive lists n the internet of ways to get rid of the nofollow problem from almost every platform.

I have no doubt that you can expect to see more posts of resources in the near future.
